Boston’s Combat Zone then and now.

I found a pretty great bit of photo journalism documenting what was the Combat Zone for many years, what is now the theater district/china town.  The old Combat Zone certainly lived up to its name.  In the 60′s 70′s and 80′s it was notorious for seedy strip clubs, porn theaters, drugs, and general mayhem.  Now the area has changed so drastically it barely recognizable.  The Theater District/China Town/Midtown area is now home to multi million dollar condo developments such as the W Residences Boston, high end rental buildings like the Archstone Boston Common, and multiple planned future developments such as Hayward Place.
